Words are powerful
Can be detrimental
If you let it get personal
They can equally be soulful
When your heart is intentional

Brave soul

Let not your heart fret,
As I pick up this anointed pencil
To write away
These ill feelings of vain
Pouring down on my frame,
As I’m consumed with pain
Luminated wellspring
May you refreshen
My eyes to gaze
Farther than the light at bay
Amidst this tempest —

Change your ways
And your blessed face will rest
When you look within
For the light-beaming
Through the vessel
That you are
